Le Lac Eclectic

Originally built in the 90s, this residence reflects an eclectic Mediterranean Revival character, with Italian, Venetian, and classical influences expressed through its architecture. The design for this renovation focused on the careful restoration of the home's architectural elements, from repairing the Venetian plaster and marble columns to refinishing and repainting surfaces throughout. Contemporary cabinetry, furnishings, and finishes were then introduced with a restrained hand, allowing the new elements to merge naturally with the original architecture. A considered dialogue between the character of the original home and the client's desire for a more contemporary interior.
